Between June and October of 2007 our family and friends launched a fundraising campaign for missing people charity.
Money came from donations, public collections, cake sale, car boot, selling ribbons,non-uniform day and of course press work.
We used the press to help us look for our daughter while she was missing, they generally pay families expenses for this sort of thing but we made an early decission not to take any money, hence all monies received were donated to the charity.

Why I am writing this blog
2007 has been a year of discovery for me.
I started the year as a happy married mum with 2 perfectly average teenage kids, pets running round the garden, dirty washing piled high,we were just the average family.
It's now the end of the year I don't know who I am or what I'm doing,my life is turned upside down,my daughter is gone,my confidence went with her.
I am writing this blog to warn other families of just what can go wrong and how we as a family naively thought that we would get help when we needed it.
We were unded the impression that the laws in this country protected innocent children and prosecuted criminals, how wrong could we be.
